Le Guin and discussing how her Northern California upbringing affected her imaginative fictional societies. Jesse Drew (UC Davis) will speak on the historical end of the communal legacy in Northern California from a perspective that includes his personal involvement in Diggers communes and the SF Food Conspiracy.
